How CraftedCalcs is funded

CraftedCalcs is free to use. The site is supported by two revenue sources:

• Display advertising — ads shown on pages, served by third-party networks (initially Google AdSense; may include Mediavine, Raptive, or similar premium networks as the site grows)
• Affiliate links (when present) — links to products we recommend. If you click through and purchase, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you.

Our principles

1. Ads don't influence calculator math. Our formulas come from industry standards and are published transparently. No advertiser can pay to change a result.
2. Affiliate links are labeled. When we link to a product we earn commission from, we'll say so.
3. We only recommend products we'd use. We won't promote something just because the commission is higher.
4. You can use ad blockers. We'd rather have you here with an ad blocker than not at all. Calculators work the same either way.

FTC compliance

Per FTC guidance, we disclose material relationships with advertisers and affiliate partners. When a link earns us commission, it is labeled as such. This page serves as our standing disclosure covering all pages on CraftedCalcs.
